To assist you in submitting your resume for consideration as quickly and accurately as possible, we have prepared a list of the most commonly asked questions.

How do I submit my resume to ESI?
What happens after I submit my resume?
What happens if I do not receive a call after I've submitted my resume?
How do I find out about current and future job opportunities with ESI?

To search for current open positions, go to SEARCH JOBS and follow the steps to begin your search for jobs in your areas of interest. To make this process simpler, we have introduced special features to assist you in searching for jobs with us:

  • Search Jobs: Through the search jobs feature, you can look for jobs through multiple search criteria: by location, by title, by function, or by specific skills, experiences, or abilities.
  • Email this Job to a Friend: If you see an opportunity that you think would interest someone else, consider using the " Email this Job to a Friend " function in the jobs database. Simply enter your friend's email address, and the job opening will be forwarded accordingly.
  • Jobs Shopping Cart: As you explore current opportunities, the database provides you the ability to select multiple jobs of interest to apply for in one easy step.
How do I prepare my resume to my best advantage?
Like many other companies, we utilize a jobs database to receive and store resumes. Our recruiters search the database regularly for matches using key words and phrases from resumes that match relevant skills, knowledge and experiences. It's important that you include specific terms and acronyms that accurately describe your experience. To ensure readability in the database, it is best to avoid special formatting, such as bolding, italicizing, indenting, and unique fonts. We recommend Helvetica, Arial or Times New Roman fonts, and left-justifying all text.

How do I submit my resume to ESI?
To submit your resume, go to SEARCH Jobs and follow the step-by-step instructions. The matching process for both current and future opportunities works most efficiently when resumes are submitted electronically. Therefore, we ask that you follow the steps to apply online rather than submitting paper resumes. To simplify this process, we have added several options for you to submit your resume:
-Resume Builder: If you don't have a current resume handy, check out our resume builder. This feature assists you in developing your resume online and allows you to submit it directly to the jobs database when you are finished.
-Cut-n-Paste Current Resume: If you have a resume ready to submit, you have the option of cutting and pasting the resume directly into our database.
For recruiters and headhunters, we accept resumes only under the Preferred Recruiter Vendor Program guidelines. For more information about this program, go to Employment Agencies.

What happens after I submit my resume?
Once your resume has been submitted into our database, you will receive an acknowledgement via email verifying receipt of your resume. ESI recruiters will then match your knowledge, skills and abilities against those of current open positions. If there is a match, you may expect to receive a phone interview. The interview process time varies depending on the position. We make all attempts to contact candidates within two weeks of the resume submission date.

What happens if I do not receive a call after I've submitted my resume?
Managers and recruiters work together to review resumes to find good matches. Not everyone who applies will get a call. If there is not an immediate match, your information will remain in the jobs database for at least six months and will be matched against new positions that open in that timeframe. As matches arise in the future, you will be contacted as appropriate. It is not necessary to re-submit your resume unless you want to make changes or if you want to apply for specific future openings.
